“A Harmonious Collaboration”: Kinhaven Music School and Burr and Burton Academy Launch Nation-First Semester Program in Classical Music + Academics

Two of Vermont’s most respected educational institutions have joined forces to create a groundbreaking immersive semester-program in music and academics. The partnership between Kinhaven and Burr and Burton Academy offers high-school string‐players from across the country an opportunity to live on Kinhaven’s scenic campus, attend full academic courses at BBA in the morning, and devote their afternoons and evenings to dedicated chamber music, rehearsals and coaching.
“Our goal was to take the ethos of Kinhaven’s summer immersion program and extend it through the academic year,” said Anthony “Tony” Mazzocchi, Co-Executive Director of Kinhaven, who conceived the vision more than a decade ago. “Now the reality is unfolding—and the results are remarkable.” —Manchester Life
