The Annual Fund makes Kinhaven possible for today’s students. Your Legacy investment helps secure Kinhaven for tomorrow’s students.

We are constantly humbled whenever alumni or other friends of Kinhaven notify us that they have chosen to include Kinhaven in their estate giving plans. 

We wanted to share with you the words of one of Kinhaven’s earliest music teachers, Eckhart Richter, as to why he has chosen to include Kinhaven in his estate giving plans. Eckhart, along with fifteen other donors formed the inaugural class of our “Silver Swans” (many of our alumni will recall the madrigal!), which is Kinhaven’s way of recognizing donors who have chosen to include Kinhaven in their estate plans. As music teachers, we know that our greatest legacy is the knowledge and enthusiasm we impart to our students. As Kinhaven’s directors, we also know that the success of today’s programs is the legacy of those who have gone before us—those who have given their time, shared their expertise, articulated their vision for Kinhaven’s future, and supported our programs year after year by giving to the Annual Fund.

You have the opportunity today to further your own Kinhaven legacy, as well as the legacies of those who have preceded us. By helping us, as music teachers, do that which we love, you may have just fueled the passion for another musician’s lifetime of music!
