Many years later, he returned to Kinhaven through the Adult Chamber Music Workshop, which he has attended regularly since 2002. Dr. Valley joined the Kinhaven Board of Trustees in 2023 and serves on the Development Committee.

"... I volunteered to join the Kinhaven Board because I wanted to participate in and contribute to making Kinhaven an even greater institution for the next 75 years. This has allowed me to learn in detail all of the hard work and accomplishments of the Kinhaven Board and the Executive Directors over the past decade or more which have brought Kinhaven to where it is today."
